The 3 Sêr Cymru National Research Networks represent and promote excellent research in Wales in three diverse Grand Challenge research areas: life sciences & health, advanced engineering & new materials, and low carbon energy & the environment. Funded through the Welsh Government Sêr Cymru initiative and HEFCW, the Networks fund PhD studentships and Fellowships, research development activities, platform grants and bridging initiatives, as well as organising public lectures and events.
